Everything you need to know about raising or backing a campaign.

Win Win Circle is a crowdfunding platform built on trust. Founders raise money for their ideas by sharing their story, setting a goal, and offering rewards to supporters. Backers browse real campaigns, choose what to support, and pay securely. This guide walks through every step so there are no surprises.

Whether you are a first-time founder with an idea or someone who simply wants to support a project they believe in — you are in the right place.

— the basics

What is crowdfunding and how does this platform fit?

Crowdfunding means raising money from a large group of people — each person contributing a small amount — to fund a project, product, or idea. Win Win Circle is the platform that makes this safe, structured, and transparent for everyone involved.

The idea Founder

A founder has an idea and needs funding to make it real.

A founder can be a student, entrepreneur, small business owner, artist, or anyone with a project that needs financial support. They create a campaign page explaining their idea, how much they need, by when, and what backers will get in return.

The support Backer

Backers browse campaigns and choose what to support.

Backers are people who want to help bring ideas to life. They explore campaigns on the platform, read the story, choose a reward tier that matches their interest, and pay securely. Think of it like pre-ordering a product or making a small investment in someone's idea.

The trust Platform

The platform keeps everything traceable and accountable.

Win Win Circle reviews every campaign before it goes live, handles all payments securely through Razorpay, issues certificates to backers, and ensures founders complete identity verification before money moves to their bank account.

For founders — raising a campaign
— founder guide

Complete guide to launching and running your campaign.

Follow these steps in order. Each one builds on the last. You don't have to do everything in one sitting — your draft is saved and you can return at any time.

1

Create a free account and choose the Founder role.

Go to the registration page and sign up with your email and a password. When asked to choose your role, select Founder. This determines which dashboard and tools you will see after login. You cannot change your role later, so choose carefully.

  • Your email is used for all campaign and payment notifications.
  • Choose a strong password — you are responsible for your account security.
  • Founders and backers have separate dashboards. Signing up as a founder gives you access to campaign creation, analytics, and payout requests.
Note: If you just want to browse campaigns, you can do that without an account. You only need to register when you want to back a project or create one.
2

Verify your email address with a one-time code.

After registering, you will receive a 6-digit OTP (One Time Password) on the email address you signed up with. Enter this code on the verification screen. Email verification is required to build trust on the platform — unverified accounts have limited access.

  • The OTP is valid for 15 minutes. If it expires, you can request a new one.
  • Check your spam or junk folder if you do not see the email.
Tip: Add no-reply@win win circle to your contacts so emails don't land in spam.
3

Complete your public profile.

Your profile is what backers see when they look at who is behind a campaign. Go to your Profile page from the dashboard and fill in the details that build credibility.

  • Full name — your real name as it will appear on the campaign.
  • Phone number — for account security and KYC purposes.
  • Bio — a short description of who you are and what you do. Even 2–3 sentences make a difference.
  • Location — city, state, and country.
  • LinkedIn URL — optional but adds significant credibility.
  • Profile photo — a real photo builds instant trust with backers.
4

Complete KYC verification to unlock payouts.

KYC stands for Know Your Customer. It is a legal requirement before money can be transferred to your bank account. KYC verification does not block you from creating or launching a campaign — but you must complete it before you can receive any payout once your campaign raises funds.

What KYC requires:

  • Legal full name — exactly as it appears on your government ID.
  • Date of birth
  • PAN card number — mandatory for financial transactions in India.
  • Business name — if you are raising funds for a registered business (optional for individuals).
  • Full address — including address line, city, state, postal code, and country.
  • Bank account details — account holder name, account number, and IFSC code of the bank where you want to receive funds.
  • Identity document — upload a photo/scan of your Aadhaar card, passport, or voter ID.
  • Address document — upload a recent utility bill, bank statement, or government-issued address proof.
Status flow: After you submit, KYC moves from Not Started → In Progress → Pending Review → Verified. Staff reviews and approves it. If something is missing, it moves to Changes Requested and you will be notified by email.
5

Create your campaign.

From your founder dashboard, click "Create Campaign." You will fill in a structured form with all the information backers need to understand and trust your project.

Campaign fields explained:

  • Title — keep it short and specific. Bad: "My new project." Good: "Portable solar water purifier for rural India."
  • Tagline — one sentence that captures the essence of your campaign.
  • Category — choose the category that best describes your project (e.g., Technology, Health, Education, Social Impact).
  • Summary — a paragraph visible on the campaign card in search results. This is what makes people click.
  • Funding goal — the total amount you want to raise. Minimum is ₹100. Be realistic — your goal affects backer confidence.
  • Start date and end date — the window during which backers can pledge. This creates urgency. Most campaigns run for 30–60 days.
  • Location — where the project is based.
  • Campaign story — this is the heart of your campaign. Explain what the problem is, what your solution is, how you will use the funds, and what happens after the campaign ends. The more honest and detailed, the better. Include milestones, your team background, and a timeline if possible.
  • Campaign image — a strong visual makes a significant difference in conversion. Use a real photo or a clean, professional image related to your project.
Tip: Read 3–5 successful campaigns on the platform before writing your own. Notice how they structure the story and what information they include.
6

Add reward tiers to give backers a reason to participate.

Reward tiers are what backers get in exchange for pledging at a certain amount. They are not mandatory, but they significantly increase backing rates. Backers can also pledge without selecting a tier.

How to design good tiers:

  • Create at least 3–5 tiers at different price points (e.g., ₹299, ₹999, ₹2,499, ₹4,999).
  • Title — name each tier. E.g., "Early Supporter," "Champion," "Founding Partner."
  • Amount — the minimum pledge required to claim this reward.
  • Description — exactly what the backer gets. Be specific. Vague rewards get skipped.
  • Estimated delivery — when you expect to deliver the reward. Even a rough date builds trust.
  • Quantity limit — optionally cap a tier (e.g., only 50 "Founding Partner" spots). Scarcity motivates action.
Idea: If your project is early-stage, offer digital rewards first — thank-you emails, early access, naming credits, exclusive updates. Physical products come later.
7

Submit your campaign for review.

Once your campaign is complete, submit it for review. The Win Win Circle team will inspect it for quality, accuracy, and compliance before it goes live. This usually takes 1–3 business days.

  • Staff check: clear goal, honest story, valid contact info, appropriate category, working images.
  • If your campaign needs changes, you will be notified and it will be sent back to draft.
  • Once approved, the campaign is ready to go live on your chosen start date — or earlier if staff activates it directly.
Status track: Draft → In Review → Approved → Live. You can track this on your campaign dashboard.
8

Your campaign is live — share it and drive backers to it.

Once live, your campaign is visible to everyone on the explore page, category pages, search, and leaderboard. The platform does not advertise individual campaigns — you are responsible for driving traffic through your own network.

  • Share on WhatsApp, Instagram, LinkedIn, and email with a personal ask. Cold broadcasts do not work — warm personal messages do.
  • Aim for your first 30% from people who already know and trust you. Social proof then attracts strangers.
  • Pin your campaign link in your Instagram bio, LinkedIn About section, and email signature.
  • Ask early backers to share it with one friend — word-of-mouth is the most powerful driver.
9

Monitor your dashboard and track live activity.

Your founder dashboard shows all the numbers in real time — total pledges, amounts raised, backer count, and which reward tiers are most popular. Use this to make decisions while the campaign is running.

  • Analytics tab — pledge trends over time, daily new backers, revenue breakdown.
  • Backers tab — who backed you, at what tier, and when.
  • Rewards tab — how many slots are left in each tier.
10

Post regular updates to keep backers engaged.

Campaign updates are posts that keep your backers informed about progress. This is one of the most important trust-building activities you can do — campaigns with regular updates receive more backing and fewer refund requests.

  • Milestone update — announce when you hit 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% of your goal.
  • Fund utilization — share how you are using the money raised so far.
  • Behind-the-scenes — photos, videos, or stories from the project work in progress.
  • You can mark updates as public (visible to everyone) or private (only to backers).
  • Post at least one update per week while the campaign is live.
11

Campaign ends — request your payout.

When the campaign end date passes, the campaign status changes automatically. Any raised funds become available for payout — minus the platform fee and payment gateway fee.

  • Go to your Payouts section in the founder dashboard.
  • Submit a payout request for your available balance.
  • A platform staff member will review the payout request. Once approved, the amount is transferred to the bank account you provided during KYC.
  • KYC must be verified before a payout can be processed. If your KYC is still pending, complete it immediately after your campaign ends.
Fee breakdown: A small platform fee and payment gateway fee is deducted from each pledge. The net amount is what you receive. You can see this clearly in your dashboard before requesting a payout.
For backers — supporting a campaign
— backer guide

How to find and back a campaign you believe in.

Backing a campaign takes less than 5 minutes. Here is the complete process from discovering a project to getting your receipt and certificate.

1

Explore campaigns — no account needed to browse.

Go to the Explore page to see all live campaigns. You can filter by category, search by keyword, or check the Leaderboard for the most-funded campaigns. Read through the campaign page, story, and reward tiers before deciding to back.

  • Use the category filter to find projects aligned with what you care about.
  • Read the founder's story, bio, and what they plan to do with the money.
  • Look at how many backers have already pledged — social proof matters.
  • Check the campaign updates section to see how actively the founder is communicating.
2

Back as a guest or create a free account — your choice.

You do not need an account to pledge. You can back any campaign as a guest by entering your name and email at checkout. Your receipt and certificate are sent to that email address. If you prefer, you can also back anonymously — your name will not appear on the campaign page.

  • Creating a free Backer account is optional but useful if you want to track all your pledges in one dashboard.
  • Guest backers receive the same receipt, certificate, and campaign updates as registered backers.
  • Backers — registered or guest — do not need to complete KYC. That is only required for founders receiving payouts.
3

Choose a campaign and select your reward tier.

On the campaign page, scroll to the Rewards section. You will see all available tiers with the pledge amount, what you get, estimated delivery date, and how many spots remain. Click "Back this project" on the tier you want.

  • You can also pledge without selecting a reward tier if you just want to support without expecting something in return.
  • Tiers with limited spots (e.g., "Only 10 left") are genuinely capped — act early if you want one.
  • The minimum pledge amount is ₹100.
4

Complete the secure checkout.

You will be taken to the checkout screen. If you are a guest, enter your name and email — these are used to send your receipt. If you are logged in, your details are pre-filled. Payment is handled by Razorpay, one of India's most trusted payment gateways.

  • Accepted methods: UPI (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM), debit card, credit card, netbanking, and wallets.
  • You can choose to back anonymously — your name will not appear on the campaign's public backer list.
  • Once payment is confirmed by Razorpay, the pledge status changes to Paid automatically.
Security: Win Win Circle does not store your card or UPI details. All payment data is handled entirely by Razorpay under PCI DSS compliance.
5

Receive your receipt and backing certificate.

After a successful payment, you receive a confirmation email with your receipt number. A unique certificate number is also issued and attached to your pledge. This certificate can be verified on the platform's Certificate Lookup page at any time — it proves you backed this campaign.

  • Your receipt number is your pledge ID — keep it for any future queries.
  • The certificate is a permanent record on the platform. It does not expire.
6

Track your pledges and follow campaign updates.

Log into your Backer Dashboard to see every campaign you have supported, the status of each pledge, and the reward tier you selected. When founders post updates on their campaign, you can read them directly on the campaign page.

  • Revisit campaign pages periodically to read updates and see progress.
  • If a campaign posts a fund utilization update, you can see how your money is being used.
— payments & fees

How money moves on the platform.

Every rupee that moves through Win Win Circle is traceable. Here is exactly how payments, fees, and payouts are structured.

Step 1
Backer pays A backer completes checkout through Razorpay. Payment is confirmed in real time. The pledge status changes to Paid.
Step 2
Platform records it A receipt and certificate are issued. The pledge amount is recorded against the campaign's fundraising total.
Step 3
Campaign ends When the campaign end date passes, the total raised amount minus platform and gateway fees becomes the founder's available balance.
Step 4
Founder requests payout The founder submits a payout request from their dashboard. Staff reviews it. Once approved, the net amount is transferred to the founder's verified bank account.

Fee structure

Platform fee A small percentage of each successful pledge is retained by Win Win Circle to cover operations, moderation, and platform maintenance.
Payment gateway fee Razorpay charges a small fee per transaction for processing the payment. This is standard across all Razorpay-powered platforms.
What founders receive Founders receive the net amount after both fees are deducted. The exact breakdown is visible in the payout dashboard before submission.

Backers pay the full listed pledge amount. Fees are deducted from the founder's payout — not added on top of what backers pay at checkout.

— campaign states

What happens to a campaign at each stage.

Campaigns move through defined states. Understanding these helps both founders and backers know what to expect.

State 1 Draft

Draft

The campaign is being built by the founder. It is not visible to the public. Founders can edit everything freely. When ready, the founder submits it for review.

State 2 In Review

In Review

Staff is reviewing the campaign for quality, completeness, and compliance. This takes 1–3 business days. The founder is notified when a decision is made. The campaign can be sent back to Draft if changes are needed.

State 3 Live

Live

The campaign is public and accepting pledges. It appears in Explore, search results, and category pages. Backers can read, pledge, and share it. The funding clock is running.

State 4 Successful

Successful / Ended

The campaign's end date has passed. Fundraising is closed. The founder can now view final totals and request a payout. No new pledges can be accepted in this state.

— certificates

What is a backing certificate and why does it matter?

Every paid pledge gets a unique certificate number.

When a backer successfully pays for a pledge, the platform generates a unique certificate number attached to that specific pledge. This number is permanent — it does not expire and cannot be duplicated.

  • The certificate proves you backed a specific campaign on a specific date.
  • It includes your pledge amount, the campaign name, and the date of payment.
  • It can be used as proof of participation if a campaign offers equity, early access, or other entitlements later.

Anyone can verify a certificate on the public lookup page.

The platform has a public Certificate Lookup tool. Enter any certificate number and the system will return the verified details of that pledge — campaign, amount, date, and status. No login required.

  • Founders can use this to verify backer claims.
  • Backers can share their certificate number with founders as proof.
  • Third parties (investors, partners) can independently verify backing records.
— common questions

Frequently asked questions.

Do I get my money back if a campaign does not reach its goal?

Win Win Circle currently operates on a keep-what-you-raise model. Founders receive whatever amount was raised, regardless of whether the goal was hit. If you have concerns about a specific campaign, read the founder's story carefully and check their update history before pledging.

Can I back a campaign without creating an account?

Yes. You can pledge to any campaign as a guest — no account required. Simply enter your name, email, and complete the payment. You will receive a receipt and certificate on the email you provide. You can also choose to back anonymously, in which case your name will not appear publicly on the campaign page. If you want to track all your pledges in one place or manage your backing history, creating a free account is recommended — but it is entirely optional.

How long does KYC verification take for founders?

Once you submit all documents, the review usually takes 1–3 business days. You will receive an email notification when your KYC is approved, or if any changes are requested. Incomplete submissions take longer, so fill every field carefully before submitting.

Can I edit my campaign after it goes live?

Minor updates (like the story text or images) may be possible depending on the campaign state. Reward tiers can be added or edited from your dashboard. However, core details like the funding goal and end date cannot be changed once the campaign is live, to protect backers who have already pledged based on those figures.

What happens if a payment fails during checkout?

If a payment fails (card declined, UPI timeout, netbanking error), no pledge is created. Your money is not held or deducted. You can simply retry the checkout with a different payment method. If money was deducted but the payment shows as failed, Razorpay will auto-refund it within 5–7 business days.

Are there any restrictions on what campaigns can raise funds for?

Yes. All campaigns must comply with the platform's terms of service and applicable Indian laws. Campaigns for illegal activities, misleading projects, or content that violates community standards are rejected during review or removed if identified after launch. Founders must be truthful in their campaign content.

How do I contact the team if I have an issue?

Use the Contact page to send a message directly to the Win Win Circle team. For urgent matters related to payments or account issues, include your registered email address and pledge or campaign ID (if relevant) in your message so the team can locate your record quickly.

What currencies are supported?

Currently, Win Win Circle operates in Indian Rupees (₹ INR). All campaigns are set in INR and all payouts are processed in INR to Indian bank accounts.
